This Privacy Policy explains how Wisdom Walk ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Android application. By using Wisdom Walk you agree to the practices described here.
1 Who we are

2 Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo through our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) to create and secure your account.

Device information. We collect basic device details (device model, operating system, and a device identifier) to keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and manage access.

App content you create. Saved verses, reading preferences, and settings. Most of this is stored locally on your device; account-related data may be synced to our servers.

Verse text for AI features. When you request an AI devotional or use the guidance chat, the relevant verse or message text is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to generate a response.

Notification tokens. If you enable reminders, we use a push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver daily verse notifications.
3 How we use your information
- To provide and personalize the app (sign-in, saved verses, preferences).
- To generate AI devotionals and pastoral guidance responses.
- To send daily verse reminders you opt into.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS). You may request deletion at any time.
6 Deleting your account and data
You can request deletion of your Wisdom Walk account and its associated data at any time:

When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it (account profile and device records). Requests are processed within 30 days.
7 Children's privacy
Wisdom Walk is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
